Warranty & Refund Policy

1. Product warranty

Saltus warrants our composite hemp-fibre poles and modular pods against defects in materials and manufacture for the following periods from the date of delivery, when installed and used per our published specifications:

• Composite poles — 10 years against structural failure, 30-year design life.
• Modular pods — 5 years on structural shell; 2 years on fixtures and fittings.
• Coatings and finishes — 2 years.

2. What is not covered

• Damage from misuse, unauthorised modification, or third-party installation not conforming to our specs.
• Damage from fire, flood, seismic events, or force majeure beyond stated design tolerances.
• Normal wear-and-tear on finishes, hardware and consumables.

3. Claims process

Submit warranty claims within 30 days of discovering the defect to info@saltuspoles.co.za with photos, delivery reference and a description. We will assess and, at our option, repair, replace or credit the affected item. Consumer Protection Act rights are not limited by this policy.

4. Deposits and cancellations

Deposits secure production slots and material procurement. Cancellations before production start are refunded in full less transaction fees. Once production has started, deposits are non-refundable to the extent materials have been cut or committed.

5. Refunds

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days. Bespoke and custom-manufactured items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

6. Delivery damage

Inspect goods on delivery and note any visible damage on the waybill. Report concealed damage within 48 hours of receipt with photos so we can lodge a carrier claim on your behalf.
